Thinking less of me! (Part 2)

I’m writing a series of articles on how I lost 53 kg (117 lb) in 18 months and managed to keep the weight off.
I’m trying very hard not to preach or assume to have all the answers, I’m just telling my story, what happened to me and how I dealt with it.

Thinking less of me! (Part 1)

I lost 53 kg (117 lb) in 18 months and I’ve kept the weight off for two years now and counting.
There were no particular diet involved, no counting of calories or carbs, no magic bullet. Just some careful thought and a decision after life happened to give me a kick in the behind.

Californian me

I like California, there’s no denying it, and so far California seems to like me. At least I feel very welcome here, and the place has started to feel like home. I’ve also picked up some Californian habits, like working out and eating healthy.

Happy New Year, friend!

Happy New Year, friend!
I hope 2006 worked out good for you, and that 2007 will be even better.
In my case, 2006 turned out to be a most valuable year: I learned a lot, both about myself and in general.

Back in Bergen

Back in Bergen – and ready for a nice, relaxing family Christmas.
The strange thing is, now that I’m here, I want to go back. I guess that puts me in the unenviable position of being a sort of restless vagabond, but so be it.

More on Los Gatos

A friend made me aware of the excellent Wikipedia entry on the town of Los Gatos, where I’m staying for just a few more days. On Friday I start the long trek back home to Norway, to celebrate Christmas with my family.
